Mackeys Marina has its own ambassador called Drake. Drake is always on duty ready to welcome our clients to the store and make sure they feel welcome. He has been known to engage our clients in 'fetch' games outside for, well lets just say, you will get tired before Drake does.
We maintain a large stock of fishing reels and rods from famous names such as Penn, Shimano and Diawa. There is also an extensive range of irrestible lures to ensure a succesful fishing trip.
We also stock a selection of Costa Del Mar Sunglasses to protect your eyes while out on the water.
In the back room are the live bait tanks and there is also a supply of night crawlers and other fresh fish bait. Along the walls are arrayed Paints, Cleaners, Coatings, Boat care products, Lubricants and painting tools and supplies.
We have safety supplies and can advise on how to equip your boat for the Coast Guard Safety Inspection. We are also authorized to issue registrations and licences.
In the other direction we have the craft and clothing area where you will probably find something you can not do without.
Special Orders
Another special service offered is custom ordering of parts and material you need for the fitting out of your boat. As we allow you to work on your own boat on our premises, we ask that you give us this business so that we can continue to provide this convenience to boat owners.
We can provide you with whatever you need, at competitive prices with other marine stores and internet suppliers. The benefit to you is that you will have a one stop shopping experience and save the time driving round looking for what you want, as well as shipping charges on items ordered on the Internet.
